The use of drought tolerant turfgrass cultivars is desirable due to greater water efficiency and sustained acceptable quality during times stress. Crop coefficients (Kc) have traditionally been utilized assist in reducing irrigation by comparing reference evapotranspiration (ETo) actual (ETa) specific crops.
